Legislative advocacy: We track and support laws that protect retiree benefits and fight those that don’t—locally, statewide, and nationally.
Statewide connections: As part of the California Retired County Employees Association (CRCEA), we join forces with retirees from 20 counties across California.
News and updates: Our quarterly News Briefs newsletter keeps you up to date on issues that matter to retirees.
Events and community: Enjoy four annual luncheons—including a picnic and holiday celebration—at discounted member rates.
Exclusive benefits: Access group-rate insurance plans, member-only website pages, and reduced rates on select services.
Get involved: Attend board meetings, vote in elections, or even run for the SCREA Board yourself.
Membership is open to all Sacramento County retirees, their spouses or domestic partners, and the surviving spouses or domestic partners of County retirees. Dues come right out of your pension. Regular members pay just $2.00 per month, while Associate Members (spouse/domestic partner or surviving spouse/domestic partner) pays just $1.00 per month.
