The Sacramento County Retired Employees Association (SCREA) is the only formally recognized organization to represent Sacramento County retirees.
SCREA is governed by Bylaws that are established by your Board of Directors and approved by Members. Click SCREA BYLAWS 12 9 2024.pdf to see the current version of the Bylaws. SCREA has a seventeen member Board of Directors that meet on a monthly basis. Board Members play an active role and serve on various committees to support retiree issues. Click here for a brief description of the standing committee's primary purpose and responsibilities. Membership dues are $2.00 per month and we are approximately 5000 members strong. We produce a quarterly newsletter that provides information to all members. One of the best ways to reconnect with former co-workers is to attend the quarterly luncheons. These social events also serve as General Membership Meetings and often provide guest speakers and periodic updates on matters important to members. Board meetings are typically held at 9:30am the first Monday of each month at the Rancho Cordova Police Department - 2897 Kilgore Road, Rancho Cordova.
